At KittyHawk, we cater to pilots that are either looking to build flight time, train for a new license or rating, or just enjoy the sky's and visit the local sights with their family and friends. We are locally owned and operated and are looking to help the local aviation community find an aircraft that is enjoyable to fly while having a memorable experience. We are located at Schenectady County Airport (KSCH), a class D airspace with fuel and maintance available through Richmor Aviation FBO.

N19PF- 1972 Cessna 177B (KSCH)
Kittyhawk Aircraft Rentals prides itself in creating a flying experience that you will enjoy! We are passionate about aviation and it shows in the quality of our aircraft. Our Cessna 177B Cardinal is a joy to fly as she is well cared for and well equipped. Her aesthetics are complete with a recent paint job and newer leather interior. The tire fairings not only look good but help her aerodynamics and reduce fuel consumption. Great attempts are made to always have her in showroom condition. With the cold norther NY winters, she is tucked away in a heated hanger. so you can begin your preflight inside.
She is powered by the 180hp Lycoming 0-360 strapped with a Powerflow exhaust adding another 15hp. On her nose you will find a 3 bladed MaCauly constant speed prop to make this bird climb.
Our Cardinal has been upgraded with a modern panel. Link your Foreflight Tablet with all interacting -Garmin GNC355, Garmin Aera 660 & 2 Garmin 5's. Radio's are controlled through the Garmin GMA 345. Interested in engine performance? Look no further than our CRG-30P glass panel engine monitor. This little beauty lets you know everything from fuel-flow, EGT, engine performance to weight and balance! Wanting to be able to take a break from hand-flying? Just turn on the auto-pilot! Not only does it fly your altitude and heading, it will also couple to your GPS course. The Garmin 345 Transponder has ADS-B out and ADS-B in is available through the Area 660!
